Live in The Carnegie Theatre, Kenmare, Ireland on 17th June 2022

Projections 2022

It gives me great pleasure to announce my first live show in 5 years will be staged in The Carnegie Theatre, Kenmare, Ireland on Friday 17th June 2022!

It is a wonderful venue with a very interesting history https://www.carnegieartskenmare.ie/story/
I am also delighted to announce that my special guest, who will open the night's entertainment, a legend in my eyes and a beautiful human being,
Ivan Peter Pawle, one of the founder members of
Dr Strangely Strange
Ivan also informed me that this will be his first solo set so I'm really looking forward that!

Spoiler alert.. there will be other surprises on the night!  Hear Dr Strangely Strange's music on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0_Sc_PY2d6w1Eyt1aHQrNA

I am extremely grateful to The Carnegie Arts Centre for this opportunity. Having been to a number of events in the venue since I moved to the area just over a year ago now I'm very excited to get a chance to perform my "Projections" show there, show no. 5 in 7 years & 5 years since I staged the last one!

I'm both excited and terrified at the same time but at this stage of my life (ye olde pun.. badum tish!) I'm enjoying ever moment I can catch myself to be in the moment!

It's been a long and windy road, as the song says, 39 years since I first stood on a stage with a guitar and 17 years since I finally got up enough courage to sing in public so to say this is a big one for me would be putting it mildly but having said that I'm pretty chilled about the whole thing right now, getting what needs to be done done without putting myself under too much pressure.. pressure's for tyres!
This is shaping up to be a very interesting night indeed so be there or be Square! ;D

Hello and welcome to the latest edition of my blog! 2020 has been a year like no other and with no end in sight to our current plight it is important to keep on keeping on with the the belief that one day soon we will once again find ourselves in a World where we can move about freely and meet and hold each other without fear, that is a day we will welcome with open arms. In the meantime we are blessed with technology which enables us to communicate with each other like never before. This too will pass and we will get through it!

2020 has been a turbulent year, to put it mildly, containing events that have changed my life forever. The year began with dreams and plans of touring but that was soon brought to a halt when I was informed that I needed a hip replacement so I adapted to survive, what's another year I told myself. Soon after that came the Covid-19 virus and with it a total Worldwide lockdown. Life as we knew it has changed forever and as we're still in the middle of it who knows how it's going to turn out? Once again I adapted to survive. It's what we do or we die. Humanity has shone it's brightest lights during this time and there is a wonderful opportunity to take advantage of this time to bring about much needed change in our society, only time will tell I guess. More recently though and by far the most difficult event for me to adapt to, and still is, was the passing of my Mother.
